Maintenance Technician

About the Role

The Darwalla Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our poultry farms in the Southern Downs district. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with a range of scheduled maintenance tasks across our farms, including repairing plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance tasks, including repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment
• Travel to our farms located in the Southern Downs district
• Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our farms

Requirements

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
• Be diligent and hard working, with a strong mechanical aptitude and sound troubleshooting skills
• Be enthusiastic, energetic and have a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Sufficient literacy and numeracy skills
• A drivers license and your own transport
• Sound physical fitness, with the ability to work in dirty or dusty environments, work at heights, work in confined spaces, or work outside in all types of weather
