Job Overview:This position is ideal for a specialist who is passionate about making a difference in remote and Indigenous health while contributing to teaching and training programs for medical students and psychiatry registrars.
- Deliver expert psychiatric care across community and forensic settings (50:50 split).
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health outcomes.
- Contribute to teaching psychiatry to medical students and postgraduate trainees.
This position comes with an attractive remuneration package and benefits, including:
- Specialist Clinician: $248,765 - $304,012.
- Senior Specialist Clinician: $314,354 - $347,549.
- Additional allowances:
- Professional Training Allowance: $21,603 - $27,967.
- Second Roster Allowance: $41,433.
- Private Practice Allowance: $103,538 - $145,005.
- Salary packaging benefits: $9,010.
- 6 weeks annual leave + 2 weeks professional development leave.
- Superannuation and leave loading.
- Relocation and repatriation reimbursement.
