Job Overview:

This position is ideal for a specialist who is passionate about making a difference in remote and Indigenous health while contributing to teaching and training programs for medical students and psychiatry registrars.

  • Deliver expert psychiatric care across community and forensic settings (50:50 split).
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health outcomes.
  • Contribute to teaching psychiatry to medical students and postgraduate trainees.
Benefits:

This position comes with an attractive remuneration package and benefits, including:

  • Specialist Clinician: $248,765 - $304,012.
  • Senior Specialist Clinician: $314,354 - $347,549.
  • Additional allowances:
    • Professional Training Allowance: $21,603 - $27,967.
    • Second Roster Allowance: $41,433.
    • Private Practice Allowance: $103,538 - $145,005.
  • Salary packaging benefits: $9,010.
  • 6 weeks annual leave + 2 weeks professional development leave.
  • Superannuation and leave loading.
  • Relocation and repatriation reimbursement.
