About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our ANZ business unit. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing local business strategies, and overseeing the financial performance of our ANZ operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership and responsibility of P&L and sales revenue of the ANZ business
  • Leading a team of seasoned leaders, including Commercial, Customer Experience, Medical, HR, and Finance
  • Developing and executing local business strategy in line with regional and global strategy
  • Overseeing and managing budget and financial forecast aligned with the P&L
  • Driving integration of the local company culture in line with the global company's values and behaviours
  • Developing a deep understanding of the external business environment, competitors, and emerging trends to influence and drive sales in a highly competitive environment
  • Monitoring and ensuring timely distribution of agreed financial reports
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with major customers, relevant government departments, agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers, and other key external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a General Manager
  • Extensive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • P&L ownership experience
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and hands-on style to leadership
  • Experience across a breadth of therapy markets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent business judgement
  • Ability to work in a lean, highly dynamic, and fast-growing organisation with demonstrated capability to be at ease in a matrix structure with the ability to influence
