Payroll Officer

Are you a payroll professional with experience in the automotive industry? We are seeking a Group Payroll Specialist to lead our payroll operations and be part of an end-to-end HRIS transformation.

Job Description:

  1. End-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities using cloud-based HR platforms.
  2. Ensure compliance with awards, superannuation, and Fair Work obligations in conjunction with the People and Culture team.
  3. Reconcile payroll reports, STP submissions, leave entitlements, and employee records.
  4. Work closely with People & Culture to support onboarding, terminations, and audits.
  5. Lead payroll queries with professionalism and discretion.
  6. Participate in the rollout and testing of our new payroll system.

Requirements:

  • Proven payroll experience in a multi-site, award-based environment – automotive industry experience highly regarded.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based HR platforms.
  • Strong understanding of NES, payroll tax, STP, and superannuation compliance.
  • A keen eye for detail, discretion, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable navigating change – you enjoy working in evolving, people-driven environments.
