Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor Security to lead and supervise our security team in a dynamic physical security environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our assets, infrastructure, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Supervise the Security Team: Promote a harmonious workplace culture, ensure all performance issues are addressed in a timely manner, and provide training and mentoring to the security team.
  • Staff Rostering and Fatigue Management: Undertake staff rostering requirements to ensure adequate staffing levels to manage the site in line with fatigue management policies.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate incidents, compile information for accurate reporting, and ensure incidents are raised and reported in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Security Management System and Access Control: Maintain and monitor the Security Management System and Access Control, issue access cards, keys, and vehicle entry to ensure staff access to site is valid and up to date.
  • Event Management and Security: Supervise the security team for events management, ensure daily checks and audits are conducted by the Security Team, and store/record correctly and communicate to management.
  • Toolbox Meetings and Communication: Facilitate Toolbox meetings weekly, circulate minutes to security staff, and maintain open communication channels.
  • Security Counter Measures and Maintenance: Ensure electronic and physical security counter measures are functional and meeting performance standards, prepare and coordinate maintenance schedules, and ensure armoured vehicles and couriers are escorted into the sally port for precious metal collection and deliveries.
  • Staff Check and Dispatch: Ensure staff check and confirm dispatch and deliveries of precious metal leaving/entering site, and ensure JSA's and Work Instructions are submitted in a timely manner for contractors working on-site.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience in a security operations environment.
  • Security Operations Experience: Experience in Security Operations of 2+ years, with a strong understanding of access control and CCTV systems.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: First Aid Certificate (OFA preferred) and minimum Certificate III in Security Operations (preferred).
