Production Operations Role

This is a full-time position based at the PGH Bricks site in Oxley, reporting to the Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment while prioritizing quality, safety, and efficiency.

In This Role You Will
  • Prioritise Safety: actively support and promote a culture of zero harm; maintain a safe workplace (Never Walk Past principle).
  • Daily Production Support: contribute to maintaining and improving daily production targets with your team.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: participate in team-based programs to reduce costs, streamline processes, and increase efficiency.
  • Preventative Maintenance: participate in regular maintenance to ensure smooth operation of equipment.
  • Performance & Collaboration: manage day-to-day tasks proactively and work closely with teammates to maximise productivity.
  • Quality Assurance: perform routine checks to uphold product quality and meet brick production targets.
  • Keep It Clean & Organised: maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Innovation & Feedback: share ideas with management and contribute to plant improvement projects.
Requirements
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and wellbeing.
  • Team-oriented mindset where everyone's voice matters.
  • Attention to detail, especially regarding safety, quality, and process accuracy.
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, multi-stage manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift license.
  • Strong understanding of production operations.
