Baggage Porter

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous individual to join our team as a Baggage Handler.

As a Baggage Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of passengers' luggage through our airport facilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to collect, sort, and check luggage against flight lists, guaranteeing that items reach their intended destinations without delay or issue.

You will also be responsible for loading and unloading passenger luggage and air cargo onto carts, dollies, and the airport belt system, working efficiently to meet tight deadlines.

• To collect, sort, and check luggage against flight lists, making sure that items go on to the right aircraft.
• Move luggage or freight to and from aircraft holds using trucks, cargo loaders, and conveyor systems
• Loading and unloading passenger luggage and air cargo, bulk, and/or containers/pallets, onto carts and/or dollies and the airport belt system

We are looking for individuals who possess:

Manual Handling Experience: You should have a solid understanding of manual handling procedures and be able to lift, carry, and maneuver luggage with ease.

Awareness of Operational Requirements: A thorough knowledge of ground handling operations is essential to ensure seamless luggage transfer.

Excellent Organisation and Time Management Skills: You should be able to prioritise tasks effectively, manage your time wisely, and work well under pressure.

Customer Focus: Providing exceptional service to passengers and airline staff is paramount.
