About the Role

We are seeking experienced and passionate Personal Care Workers to join our team at Silver Chain Group Limited in Kalgoorlie. As a Care Aide, you will be providing care to clients located in various suburbs, including Boulder, Coolgardie, Hannans, Kambalda East/West, Lamington, Mullingar, Piccadilly, Somerville, South Kalgoorlie, Victory Heights, and Williamstown.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional care and support to clients, enhancing their ability to participate in their own care and maintain independence.
  • Provide skin care, toileting, general hygiene, grooming, dressing, fitting and removal of pressure stockings, mobility, fluid intake, feeding, meal preparation, respite, and assisting with medication.
  • Support clients with general housekeeping, social support, and basic first aid.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, or Disability, or 6-12 months experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in the community as a Care Aide or Support Worker is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise workload, and work independently.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Current motor vehicle driver's licence with no restrictions and own reliable registered motor vehicle with a minimum of third-party insurance.
  • Confident transporting clients in your car to appointments, shopping, etc.
  • Compliance with Silver Chain Group Policy regarding COVID-19 vaccination.
