Creative Producer, First Nations Program Coordinator

The Creative Producer, First Nations is a key position within the Programming team at the Australian Museum, working collaboratively with the First Nations Division. This role is responsible for producing a suite of programs interpreting the museum's onsite exhibitions and First Nations cultural collections.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a comprehensive and sustainable First Nations public program
- Work on and deliver existing museum offerings, such as Ngalu Warrawi Marri, gallery tours, NAIDOC and Reconciliation Week activities
- Develop new areas to enhance the program, including festivals, workshops, cultural revitalisation, and community engagement
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Event Management, History, Culture, Art, or Science
- Availability to work on evenings, public holidays, and some weekends when required
- A valid NSW Working with Children Clearance
