**Laboratory Assistant Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Laboratory Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our scientists and laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Routine receipting and processing of specimens;
  • Pre and post-analytical specimen handling;
  • Identification and prioritization of urgent specimens;
  • Filing and storage of specimens and data entry;
  • Assisting scientists in the laboratory as required;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in specimen processing and data entry;
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills;
  • The ability to cope and thrive in a busy environment;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work as a team;
  • Understanding of the importance of following procedures accurately;
  • A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures;
