As a Strategic Buyer, you will champion Epiroc's role as a true productivity partner for our customers, fostering lasting relationships. You will drive cross-functional collaboration within the organization, ensuring smooth communication and resource coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supplier Identification and Pricing: Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing for local parts.
  2. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of parts.
  3. Collaboration with Sourcing Contacts: Work closely with sourcing contacts to ensure alignment with business strategies and goals.
  4. Corporate Governance and Standards: Ensure compliance with corporate governance and standards in all procurement activities.
  5. Strategic Purchasing Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities.
  6. Administrative Tasks: Complete various administrative requirements, including loading quotations, submitting standard cost changes, and taking necessary actions to ensure availability of parts and accurate pricing.
  7. Request for Quotes and Purchase Agreements: Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate purchase agreements.
  8. Resolving Supplier Invoices: Resolve any issues related to supplier invoices in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Sourcing Data Management: Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date sourcing data.
Requirements
  1. End-to-End ERP Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the entire ERP system.
  2. Process Knowledge: Ability to follow standardized processes contributing to operational efficiency and accuracy.
  3. Product Knowledge and Technical Skills: Deep understanding of the products and materials being sourced, along with technical skills related to their specifications and requirements.
  4. Good Analytical Skills in Excel and Power BI: Preferred skills in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  5. Goal-Oriented: Ability to set and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
