Sample Preparation Specialist

The role of a Sample Preparation Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the smooth flow of work within the sample preparation area, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and supporting the team to achieve operational targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the workflow from sample reception through to pulp transfer into the next laboratory section
  • Effective communication between departments
  • Coordination of daily work schedules
  • Monitoring productivity programs and KPI dashboards
  • Close collaboration with maintenance teams to minimize downtime
  • Accountability for site safety performance

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in geochemical laboratories
  • Strong knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
  • Experience with CCLAS EL LIMS and other software
  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
