Quarry Maintenance Specialist

The role

Adbri is currently seeking a Quarry Operator to join their team at the Scotchy Pocket Quarry in Queensland in a full-time permanent role.

Our Quarry Workers operate a variety of mobile and fixed plant, including loaders, excavators, dozers, dump trucks both rigid and articulated as well as fixed and mobile crushing and screening plants.

We are specifically seeking applications from Mobile Equipment Operators experienced in operating front end loaders, excavators, dump trucks, watercarts as well as experience with crushing and screening plants.

To be successful in this role, you will enjoy working in a small team, be flexible and approachable and feel pride in doing a good job in a safe manner.

• Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained.
• Operate mobile plant and equipment.
• Undertake housekeeping and basic maintenance.
• Occasional manual handling and general labouring

• Current RII competencies as well as certificate 3 in extractive industries will be highly regarded however, not compulsory.
• Understanding of fixed crushing and screening operations
• Current drivers' licence
• Demonstrated experience operating mobile plant and equipment in a quarry or mine
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Work in a team environment.
