Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team at Penrith City Council. As part of our not-for-profit Child Care Services, you will be working in a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters children's development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging educational programs that promote children's growth, collaborating with a dedicated team of educators to create enriching learning experiences, and building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the needs of young learners
  • Collaborate with a team of educators to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) qualification
  • NESA Accreditation
  • Experience supervising and interacting with children 0-12 years old
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate with Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently
