Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for retail? We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our dynamic team in Colac. As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills and take charge of a high-performing store. You will have the ability to coach and develop up to 10 staff members, manage wages, rosters, budgets, and KPIs, and lead by example to achieve consistent results.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in operations, with experience in managing stock levels, delegating tasks, and prioritizing workloads. You must also be a natural people manager with excellent communication skills, able to inspire your team to action and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of up to 10 staff members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to drive sales growth and improve efficiency.
  • Manage stock levels, delegate tasks, and prioritize workloads to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain a positive store image.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including wages, rosters, and budgets.
  • Implement and maintain KPIs to measure store performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a retail management role.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and improving store efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
