Technology Availability Specialist

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the availability and reliability of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proactive monitoring and event management to ensure critical technology systems are functioning as expected.
  • Provide rapid break-fix solutions to restore production system availability following outages.
  • Execute planned work safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during events, incidents, and changes.
  • Work effectively in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) environment.

Requirements:

  • You must be self-motivated and an effective communicator with experience in technology, operational or maintenance environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders are essential.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills are required.
  • Infrastructure/network management experience in IT or process control in large and remote environments is necessary.
  • Previous mining/resources remote site process control experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in an IT Operations Centre is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM systems and SAP is beneficial.
  • Telecom or mining experience with Nokia LTE RAN and Microwave equipment is advantageous.
  • A proven track record in delivery of support services is essential.
  • Knowledge, use and configuration of Asset Health Monitoring Tools is required.
  • Trade/Tertiary qualification in Radio Telecommunications, Information Technology and/or equivalent IT/OT experience is necessary.
  • CCNA Certification (or currently studying) is preferred.
  • ITIL Certification is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with or troubleshooting operational technologies is necessary.
