We are seeking an experienced Supervisor/Machinist to lead our team in Geraldton.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will oversee a team of Fitter/Machinists, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Machinists/Fitters to achieve project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control workshop operations, including resource allocation and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a supervisor or leading hand, preferably in a machining environment.
  • Trade Certificate in Fitting and Machining.
  • Construction Industry White Card and current Police Clearance.
  • Current Driver's License and willingness to relocate to Geraldton.
Skill Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Experience with machining and operating machines, including Milling, Manual Lathe, CNC Programming, Hydraulic Press, and Balancing Machine.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with high motivation, energy, and commitment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Desirable Qualifications: High Risk LF, Dogging, WAH, EWP, MR Truck Licence, and experience with QAQC Management and paperwork.
