Job Title: Community Safety Coordinator

This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of communities through effective program delivery and coordination.

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely access to programs and interventions for offenders
  • Foster a supportive environment for prisoners, administering assessments and preparing them for offender intervention
  • Maintain consistency with evidence-based practices in program activities
  • Monitor prisoner participation and report progress accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with established program management procedures and standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks arising from offender assessment and management
  • Stay updated on contemporary research, legislation, policy, and procedures
  • Provide insightful information to relevant sites on prisoner participation in programs
  • Monitor records and data for continuity and accuracy
  • Offer guidance on prisoner program suitability
  • Support staff to enhance their effectiveness in conducting their duties

Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and data
  • Knowledge of contemporary research and practices in community safety
