Job Title: Principal Stormwater Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Stormwater Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our Civil team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our business.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to lead our Stormwater engineering team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality civil engineering solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate solid technical skills in DRAINS, MUSIC, and Civil 3D to provide credibility to clients and ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, including government agencies and private developers, to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of staff to strengthen and expand our Newcastle team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our national Civil team and local Structures team to leverage their expertise and resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Tier 3 or 2 Australian Consulting experience.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the engineering consulting industry.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in 12D or Civil3D software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
