Aerospace Systems Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to support the development and sustainment of complex mechanical systems. This role sits in a dynamic and highly skilled team delivering technical services directly to customers.
The successful candidate will work on the development, review, approval and certification of technical artefacts for aerospace platforms. The role is based in Williamtown and offers a range of benefits including competitive remuneration, flexible work patterns and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical execution of Continuing Airworthiness Management (Part M) and 21J Design activities;
- Development and/or review of root-cause analysis on fleet data to identify trends and opportunities to increase dispatch reliability;
- Interacting with stakeholders from operators, contractors, the Defence Regulator and aircraft OEM to support customer needs;
- Leading engineering-based projects in support of Minor and Major Mechanical Projects;
- Working towards gaining Engineering Authority and Delegations on the E-7 platform.
- Tertiary qualification in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering field meeting Engineers Australia (MIEAust) requirements;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in aviation engineering focused on Technical Services;
- Familiarity with engineering change processes;
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or eligible to obtain;
- Experience working under DASR or equivalent regulatory environment is desirable.
