Relief Cook

We are seeking an experienced Relief Cook to join our culinary team at Georges Manor. As a Relief Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Prepare and cook meals for residents, following established recipes and menu plans
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient meal service and high-quality food presentation
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
• Participate in menu planning and development, suggesting new recipe ideas and ingredients

• Certificate IV in Hospitality/Commercial Cookery (Assistant Cook)
• A minimum of 6 months cooking experience as an Assistant Cook
• Previous experience in a similar role would be desired
• A strong passion for quality and leadership in aged care
