Job Description

As a Waterfront Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be part of a team that provides exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Situated on the picturesque Kangaroo Bay Marina, our bistro offers a unique setting and quality local produce, with a strong emphasis on Tasmanian seafood.

During your day, you will attend to inquiries from patrons, prepare and dispense beverages, run food, and take orders. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with gaming functions and operations
  • Assisting patrons with both food and beverage orders, inquiries, and complaints
  • Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Taking orders and running food to tables

You will thrive in this role if you have a passion for the industry, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
  • A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures
  • An understanding of food & beverage products and services
  • Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG)
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
