Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Port Hedland. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship on Volvo, UD & Mack products through scheduled maintenance and repairs.

About the Role:

  • Scheduled maintenance and repairs of Volvo, UD & Mack products
  • Assist on the 24 hour break down roster
  • Demonstrate experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Auto-Electrician
  • Hold a relevant trade certificate in Heavy Vehicle
  • Hold a MC Licence (highly desirable)

You will have full access to diagnostic information, product specialists, specialist tooling, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure your skills continually develop as the product evolves.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade certificate in Heavy Vehicle
  • MC Licence (highly desirable)
  • A positive and proactive approach to your work
  • The ability to work well within a small team environment
