We are seeking skilled labourers to join our cleanliness team in Glenorchy. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the presentation and amenity of public spaces across Glenorchy, Moonah, and Claremont.

The role offers a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and want to make a positive impact on their community. Each position will contribute to a range of labouring activities, including painting, pressure cleaning, graffiti removal, and general cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Painting: minor asset painting, surface preparation, and touch-ups
  • Pressure Cleaning & Graffiti Removal: pressure cleaning of public amenities and timely removal and documentation of graffiti on public assets
  • General Cleaning: litter collection, public amenity cleaning, and streetscape upkeep

Requirements:

  • Experience in general labouring, painting, pressure cleaner operation, graffiti removal, or cleaning
  • Strong sense of community pride and attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and safe work practices

Licenses/Accreditation (Essential):

  • Vehicle and Medium Rigid Truck ('MR') Class license
  • White Card
  • Traffic Management Accreditation
  • First Aid Certification
