Technology Risk Management Specialist

The Technology Risk Management role involves providing compliance support, monitoring, and reporting on the effectiveness of internal controls to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
This includes identifying and evaluating technology risks and potential security weaknesses through risk assessments across systems, applications, infrastructure, and processes.
Establishing and tracking remediation efforts internally and externally until resolution is key to improving control design and operational effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience working with digital and technology functions, ideally in a technology and/or cybersecurity compliance role.
- Strong understanding of IT general controls and risk management frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001/27002, GDPR, and data privacy regulations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Possession of professional certifications such as CISA or CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer (desirable).
- Proficiency in information security domains, with a technical background in IT processes and systems-related risks.
- Self-driven with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience managing complex information security projects.
As a Manager, Technology Risk Management, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by providing strategic guidance and expertise in technology risk management.
You will work closely with key stakeholders from Technology and Business to ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, timely, and meet expectations.
Proactively suggesting process improvements and staying informed of evolving regulatory and cybersecurity requirements will be essential for your success in this role.
