Risk Management Specialist

Yancoal is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Insurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Insurance function, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our enterprise risk management strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day operations of our Risk and Insurance function, including risk assessment, risk management, and insurance program management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to manage and mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide risk management training and support to business units, and ensure that risk management practices are embedded across the organization.
- Support the development and implementation of our enterprise risk management software, and ensure that risk management data is accurately captured and reported.
- At least 1-4 years of experience in risk management, risk analysis, or auditing.
- Familiarity with risk management standards (ISO 31000) and methodology.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to apply critical and analytical thinking, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Experience working with data analytics tools (Alteryx) and dashboarding tools (Power BI).
- Experience working with SAP.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills in Simplified Chinese (Mandarin).
- Relevant professional designations (e.g. CPRA/CPRM, GIA, CA/CPA, etc.).
