Job Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced Mainframe Security professional to support multiple clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mainframe security, with experience in ACF2/RACF security architecture and sound knowledge of Unix in z/OS.

This role involves collaborating effectively with the Regional and Global Security teams, adhering to customer and corporate standards, and contributing to the creation of documentation such as process and procedural documents.

Key responsibilities include administering security policies to control access to systems, working on complex issues, and participating in vendor and platform upgrades.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing SSL certificates in a Mainframe environment, completing cyclic compliance activities, and performing ACF2/RACF application and agency level access control.

As a technical liaison and subject matter expert, they will provide guidance on business interactions, offer 'level 3' support and problem management advice for the platform team, and escalate issues to vendors/manufacturers as needed.

Requirements for this position include a solid understanding of best security practices, the ability to quickly learn new technologies, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

A relevant Information Security certification (CISSP/CCNA) is highly desirable.
