St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Critical Care team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to admitted patients on the ward, working a rotating roster across weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to patients with acute coronary syndromes, rhythm disturbances, and heart failure
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies
Requirements:
- Successful completion of Bachelor of Nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration
- Post Graduate certificate (or above) in Cardiac or Critical Care Nursing
- Commitment to providing excellent clinical care and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
