We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Mental Health Recovery Journey Partners.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting people accessing our services who have a lived experience of mental health issues to achieve their hopes and dreams.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to recovery-based practice and possess excellent communication skills to effectively listen to and create opportunities that meet the interests and goals of individuals.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing individual support that meets the recovery journey goals of people accessing Flourish Australia services
  • Using your lived experience to inform and contribute to staff learning, service understanding, and delivering person-led, strengths-focused, recovery-based services
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure effective service delivery and continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate IV or above in a relevant field OR a minimum of 2-years full-time experience working in the human services field (as recognised by Flourish Australia)
  • A strong commitment to recovery-based practice in the workplace
  • Demonstrated alignment to Flourish Australia's values
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by people with a lived experience of a mental health issue

In return, we offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $37.35-$40.05, equivalent to a salary range of approximately $73,000-$80,100 per annum, depending on the hours worked and location
