Job Description:

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled retail professional to support our team with day-to-day operations and provide an exceptional in-store experience.

The successful candidate will assist with:

  • Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices;
  • Collecting, sorting and pricing donations in store;
  • Assisting in the development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentation;
  • Providing outstanding customer service;
  • Displaying stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure;
  • FOLLOWING Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures;
  • Demonstrating core values in all work-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to understand their needs;

• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized store environment;

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction;

• Participate in visual merchandising and store presentation initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement;

• Contribute to the development of new skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices;

• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

• Previous retail experience is not essential but a passion for delivering outstanding results in a complex environment is essential;

• Ability to work a rolling roster including weekends and flexibility to work across various locations;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike;

• Solid technical skills, with proficiency in using POS systems and other technology relevant to the role;

• Ability to demonstrate integrity, respect and a positive attitude in all work-related activities.
