We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Malaga, WA.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain vehicles to relevant transport legislation and standards
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance services
- Action driver daily vehicle reports and file as required
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repairs are completed correctly
- Ensure equipment is safe to use and stored correctly
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic with a focus on training and mentoring
- Certificate III Automotive-Mechanical-Heavy Vehicle Road Transport
- Heavy Rigid license (as a minimum)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
