We're looking for a seasoned Global Technical Sourcer to join our global Talent Acquisition team. This role can be based either in the London or Sydney office.

Job Description:

You will partner closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to identify, engage, and activate high-caliber talent. You'll leverage your expertise in sourcing to develop and execute creative strategies for building a pipeline of industry leaders across Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Product and Delivery Managers.

This role emphasizes proactive engagement, diversity-focused sourcing, and close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure we attract the best in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Recruiters and hiring managers to understand the specific requirements for technical and delivery roles and how they align with organizational goals.
  • Develop innovative and effective sourcing strategies, including tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.
  • Identify and engage passive candidates through Boolean searches, LinkedIn, niche job boards, and other sourcing tools.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess basic qualifications and alignments.
  • Track and analyze pipeline metrics, sharing insights with internal stakeholders to inform hiring strategies.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, target companies, and technical skill sets to identify key talent pools.
  • Drive diversity-focused sourcing strategies to ensure inclusive candidate pipelines.
  • Continuously recommend and implement process improvements to enhance sourcing effectiveness.

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sourcer within the technology (Data/Software) sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute candidate generation strategies for technical roles including software engineering, data engineering, and consulting roles.
  • Strong experience in sourcing passive candidates using Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques.
  • Background in crafting engaging messaging to attract high-performing passive talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with hiring managers to align talent strategies with business needs.
  • Familiarity with tracking and reporting pipeline activity using an ATS.
  • Strong understanding of the tech landscape, including open-source communities and industry events.
  • Bonus: Experience in high-growth or tech start-up environments.

  • Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
