About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Policy Analyst to join our team at Queensland Treasury. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping policies that impact Queensland's communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and partnerships with clients and stakeholders on a range of issues.
  • Advise on strategic and operational matters, including public policy, legislation and regulation, program implementation, performance monitoring and evaluation, financial management and accounting policy, and/or risk assessment and management.
  • Support budget planning and performance monitoring of government agencies.
  • Prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes, commentary, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Support the organisational strategy, direction, and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Experience in government policy or financial reporting or similar analytical roles.
  • An ability to work as part of a team and work independently on complex, time-sensitive tasks.
