Senior Perinatal Infant Mental Health Specialist

This role is a vital part of delivering expert mental health support to mothers and infants up to 24 months.

The ideal candidate will lead clinical practice, develop strategies for service planning, and drive research initiatives to enhance perinatal mental health services.

This position involves:

  • Providing high-quality care to mothers and infants with complex mental health needs
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based clinical practices
  • Promoting collaboration among stakeholders to inform strategic service planning

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical field
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist
  • Proven experience working with complex psycho-social and psychiatric problems in the perinatal period
  • Excellent clinical leadership and communication skills
