The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced civil designers with infrastructure project experience within a design environment. You will work with a talented team of high-performing engineers through an exciting growth phase for our business.

As a civil design engineer, you will work under the guidance of the Discipline Manager and Lead Civil to complete design projects. Your key responsibilities will include preparing design drafting deliverables using AutoCAD with a high level of proficiency.

You will utilise 12D or Civil 3D design software to undertake design work to an intermediate standard, ensuring all work is completed within agreed time, cost, and quality standards.

Collaboration is essential in this role, requiring you to adhere to Australian Standards, drawing office procedures, and industry best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering.

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years drafting experience.

  • High-level proficiency with AutoCAD.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience using 12D or Civil 3D for civil design work.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • A proactive approach to improving quality and efficiency in drafting services.

  • Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship Required.
