The Role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Laboratory Technician – Refrigeration to join our R&D team, reporting to the Laboratory Manager. This position offers a chance to work in NATA-accredited laboratories, making it an exciting opportunity for someone who has recently obtained a trade qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (ARC license) and is eager to work for a market leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing our Heat Pump (HP), Electric and Gas Water Heaters
  • Analyzing data and writing reports
  • Working with prototypes, managing lab equipment, and collaborating with engineers
  • Detail-oriented, enjoy working with technology, and are excited about improving products

Requirements

  • A Trade qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (ARC license) or currently working towards it
  • Ability to work in shifts (once you are trained there will be an afternoon shift required at times)
  • Numeracy and literacy skills for data analysis and report writing
  • Proficiency in computer use, including experience with MS Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Any experience as a Refrigeration or HVAC Technician with associated electrical wiring work would be a bonus
