Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reliability and Engineering Team Lead to join our team in Wyong. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our plant operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead performance and drive continuous improvements in meeting maintenance department objectives and targets with both long- and short-term plans.
  • Review preventative maintenance program for continuous improvement in reliability, costs, and equipment uptime – OAU measure through Implementation / improvement of predictive and preventive maintenance practices on site (vibration analysis, oil analysis, ultrasound, and thermal imaging).
  • Ensure availability and regular review of work instructions and SOPs for maintenance practices and activities.
  • Supervise and develop Maintenance Team to meet results through cooperation and collaboration, and ensure training and succession planning to foster staff development and function performance.
  • Develop Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) plans and support PHA execution.
  • Lead PSI collation and manifests/dossiers creation and maintenance.
  • Lead or assist in RCA, applying engineering principles to solve health, safety, environment, and productivity problems.
  • Be responsible for evaluating and approving all final design documents such as P&ID's, equipment specs, drawing releases, etc., for Management of Change procedure.
  • Promote weekly toolbox safety presentations and support site safety efforts, attending other function meetings as required.
  • Accountable for safe, efficient, effective contractor management including execution and administration of site small CAPEX projects and maintenance vendor service agreements.
  • Plan and control maintenance OPEX budget, including capital expenditures.
  • Debottleneck process and practices and lead development and execution of small to medium projects (typically up to $100k) in coordination with the Tech Center.
  • Represent Maintenance in audits and participate in other internal/external quality system audits (ISO, etc.).
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in maintaining manufacturing plant with focus on reliability aspects.
  • Strong team leadership, people development, and coaching direct team members to improve team performance and effectiveness.
  • Experience in SAP PM module or similar.
  • Experience in conducting RCA and FMEA.
  • Experience in managing and leading minor capital projects and execution.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, able to work with a diverse group.
  • Skilled in LEAN and Continuous Improvement methodologies (preferred).
