Job Title: Finance Officer
This is a challenging opportunity to work in finance and contribute to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Allocate work to team members using judgment to match issue complexity and employee capability, and reduce peaks and troughs in workload.
- Assist in the mentoring and training of new staff to build knowledge and capability.
- Support the development and implementation of improvements and best practices in processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the monitoring and management of work output and quality against established performance standards through quality analysis and reporting.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and assist others to adjust.
- Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Communicate confidently and present messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
- The successful candidate will be required to provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
- The role involves working collaboratively with other staff in immediate area and in other areas of the agency.
Knowledge Required:
- Relevant systems and tools.
- Roles and responsibilities of the agency including legislative, regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Australian Accounting Standards.
