Role Overview

BELAYR Resources is a respected leader in the resources industry, focused on delivering excellence across all project phases.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team on a FIFO basis to Olympic Dam, working on a 12-month CCAP project with demanding QA/QC standards.

This role involves conducting inspections, overseeing quality control with sub-contractors and suppliers, handling defect resolution, and providing comprehensive QA/QC reporting.

You will also be responsible for inputting and tracking data in the CCMS (Construction Completion Management System), ensuring timely sign-offs and compliance with CCAP requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and monitoring for sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality requirements.
  • Prepare and manage QA/QC reports, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and defect resolution tracking.
  • Oversee Material Data Reports (MDRs), and handle Inspection Test Records (ITR) and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) sign-offs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data input in the CCMS, tracking progress and compliance with project standards.
  • Collaborate with site teams to identify and address quality issues proactively, ensuring all project phases meet CCAP-specific QA/QC standards.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certification or diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA/QC Officer, ideally within heavy construction, resources, or similar industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with RCA, MDRs, ITRs, ITPs, and CCMS.
  • Excellent attention to detail, reporting skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
  • Ability to work FIFO to Olympic Dam and meet project demands.
