External Security Vetting Analyst Team Leader

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee our external security vetting team. In this critical role, you will lead high-performing teams in Brisbane, handling complex personal security clearance processes across various security levels.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading teams, assessing clearance cases, and leveraging your experience in vetting with attention to detail and ability to manage complex processes.

  • Process security clearances meticulously, strictly adhering to best practices and standards.
  • Conduct thorough Quality Assurance checks on Personal Security Files (PSFs) ensuring their alignment with standard procedures.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with multiple stakeholders and senior team members to deliver efficient caseload management and execution.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive vetting experience in Government or similar high-security environments.
  • A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
  • Leadership: Experience in leading teams with a drive to mentor and lead enthusiastic security analysts.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous scrutiny of data and identification of potential security risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Firm commitment to uphold high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation.
