Work Integrated Learning Advisor

The University of Queensland is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate work-integrated learning placements and drive employability initiatives. As a Work Integrated Learning Advisor, you will spearhead the development and implementation of WIL placement activities, foster strategic industry partnerships, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless placement planning and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Business, Economic and Law Faculty WIL placement program, encompassing all aspects from coordination to evaluation
  • Cultivate and maintain a portfolio of relationships with key industries, identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth
  • Forge strong connections with internal UQ stakeholders, ensuring alignment between placement-related activities and broader University objectives
  • Present timely, accurate, and relevant placement information to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making

About You:

  • A degree in business or a related field, complemented by substantial experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated excellence in written, oral, and interpersonal communication, enabling effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building
  • Superb organizational skills, with a high attention to detail and ability to manage complex priorities and timelines
