Field Service Engineer NSW Role

This is a challenging role for an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide high-quality technical support and maintenance services to customers in NSW and occasionally across Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, including microscopes and imaging systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, sales teams, and technical support personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide level 1 & level 2 customer support for service requests and emergency field servicing
  • Assist with installations and commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with other service engineers, sales teams, and technical support to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:
  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualifications in electronics, engineering, or similar discipline
  • Previous experience as a field service engineer, technician, or similar role
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to travel within NSW and occasionally interstate within Australia
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
