Agricultural Specialist for Western Australian Farm

Located in the picturesque region of Brookton, Western Australia, Rural Enterprises is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated General Farm Hand to join our team. This exciting opportunity allows the chosen candidate to work on a 2,600Ha mixed property with a cropping program and sheep.
About the Role:- We are looking for someone with experience in all aspects of farming operations, including machinery operation and maintenance.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for the agriculture industry and be able to work with technology.
- Machinery operation during busy seeding and harvest periods is essential, as is general farm duties such as fencing, paddock clean up, and loader work.
- Our farm also requires assistance with 2,000 Merino sheep and weaners, including feeding and yard work, drafting, drenching, and marking.
- We are a small team of two, working closely together to ensure the success of our operations.
- You must have experience with machinery operation and maintenance, as well as a willingness to work with sheep.
- Able to work independently, yet as part of a team, you should also possess excellent communication skills.
- Honesty, reliability, and observance are essential qualities we look for in our employees.
- Experience with spraying, mechanics, truck driving, and welding would be highly desirable but not necessary.
- An attractive salary of up to $85,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
- A choice of accommodation: a 4-bedroom house or a single bedroom in a self-contained donga, both with utilities included.
- A work ute provided, making it easy to get around the property.
- Cooked dinner can be supplied during seeding and harvest periods.
- Nearby towns offer a range of amenities, including schools, supermarkets, and medical facilities.
