Job Title: HSET Advisor

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled HSET Advisor to join our team at Thunderbox on a 8/6 roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coaching and training managers on health, safety, and environmental issues, providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge to lead and manage their teams effectively.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of our Safety Health Management System (SHMS).
  • Educating and embedding organizational policies, processes, systems, and procedures in support of our national HSET strategy and Emeco Safety Health and Environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective HSET strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and coaching to managers and employees on HSET best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
