Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As part of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care assistance to our residents, enhancing their everyday living circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care and assistance to residents according to their individual care plans
  • Complete accurate documentation and reporting as required by Registered and Enrolled Nurses
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements, performance standards, and Customer Service Quality standards
  • Administer medications as per the medication manual when required

Requirements:

  • Cert III Aged Care or Individual Support, or agreement to undertake a traineeship to achieve the same
  • Working rights within Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Influenza Statement
  • Minimum three doses of COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Possession of highly developed presentation skills, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Act 1997 and other relevant legislation and regulations
