Seeking a Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and documenting mechanical services, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), mechanical ventilation, and other building services systems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to deliver high-quality projects from concept through to construction. You will work closely with architects, project managers, builders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated and innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and document mechanical services, including HVAC and mechanical ventilation systems
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and engineers to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors during construction
  • Develop energy-efficient and sustainable design strategies
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored mechanical solutions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the Australian Building Services industry
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical services design, load calculations, and energy efficiency principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, clear communication, and attention to detail
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to project delivery
