Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HSE Lead to provide oversight and drive consistent implementation of our Health, Safety, and Environmental systems across our sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a safe and sustainable work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with site management and external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
- Investigate incidents and provide recommendations for improvement to prevent reoccurrence.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and promote recycling.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to operational units on HSE and sustainability matters.
Requirements
- Strong skills in hazard identification, risk management, and incident investigation.
- Previous experience in developing, implementing, monitoring, and auditing Safety or Environmental Management Systems.
- High level of computer literacy and developed administrative skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and providing a safe and respectful work environment.
- Experience in pursuing opportunities for transformational change.
- Examples of exemplifying Workplace Health, Safety, and Environment best practices.
