The Role

We seek an experienced Senior Veterinary Nurse who is highly skilled, kind, caring, and deeply committed to animal welfare. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting the growth and development of your team members, and upholding our strong client relationships.

This full-time position consists of 38 hours per week, including a rotating 1/2 day Saturday. We work together to create schedules that suit everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality all-round nursing services, including triage, pathology, radiography, treatments, surgery, patient care, and reception duties.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations and working closely with the team to achieve the highest standards of patient care.
  • Providing mentorship, training, and guidance for the nursing team.
  • Collaborating with veterinarians to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Earning above Award rates.
  • Job security with a full-time role.

About You

  • A minimum of 3-4 years industry experience post-qualification.
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A kind, compassionate approach to working with people and animals.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A love of learning and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to self-direct and delegate fairly.
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology.
  • A commitment to a full-time position (38 hours per week).
