About the Role:
This role involves working as an Automation Specialist for the Westpac Group, ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through automated testing. The specialist will work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements, clarify issues, and address quality concerns. Main Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create a test strategy that covers critical functionality and use cases.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of web applications.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback during the development cycle.
• Analyse test results, identify and document defects, and provide detailed reports on test execution and outcomes.
• Ensure that automated tests are updated and maintained in line with changes to the application and its requirements.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong experience in software quality assurance and test automation, with a strong focus on web applications.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver or similar test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills to design effective test cases and diagnose issues efficiently.
• Good communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to report findings clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative team player.
