Job Opportunity: Clinical Lead - Aged Care
HammondCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Night team as a Clinical Lead - Aged Care. This is a part-time clinical role that involves advising and mentoring a team of Specialised Dementia Carers to support the needs of our residents.
About the Role
- Provide clinical assessment and input into how best to support the changing needs of our residents in all aspects of their lives.
- Consult and mentor in case management, supporting clinical decision making and professional oversight as a registered nurse.
- Implement and support resident comfort focus.
- Build relationships with residents, in alignment with our unique Model of Care, prioritising and respecting each person as an individual.
Requirements
- Availability to work 7-8 night shifts per fortnight.
- Patience, empathy and a passion for improving quality of life for older people with dementia.
- Value team work, but also the ability to work independently and show initiative.
- Have current AHPRA registration with ideally 2-3 years of experience in an Aged Care setting.
